Shortly after midnight, Yulia was disappointed to find that her venue still didn’t have a single customer loyalty star. She decided to take a chance on enlarging the venue and adding another card table.
Soon thereafter, Sarah McCarthy gained a star, and Yulia gained 1,500 aspiration points!
She noticed that a “Get a Promotion” want was taking up space in her wants list,
so, since she had never intended actually to go to her new Business job, she called and quit work.
She and Talin Depiesse hit it off, and talked for hours.
He eventually gained a star,
and, first thing in the morning, so did Ivy Copur,
which allowed Yulia to take her first Business Perk. She took the first cash perk,
which got her $1,000. And shortly thereafter, Andrea Hogan gained a star.
By this time Yulia was tired, but her new friend Talin showed up again, so she hung out with him for a while,
which proved a good use of her time, since he gained a second star.
Once her daily relationship with Talin had reached 100,
she figured she might as well get some sleep. She awoke in late afternoon, and decided to try to get the two additional customer loyalty stars that she needed in order to have a Level 2 business.
She struck up a conversation with Troy Go, who gained a star, as did Jill Smith,
so Yulia reached Level 2 and was able to take another cash prize,
this time for $2,500.
Yulia thought so highly of her new friend that she hired him--
he had a Silver Cosmetology badge, a Bronze in Restocking, and a Bronze in Pottery.
But, because Yulia as yet had no work for Troy to do, she sent him home for the day, and turned her attention to her needs.
Just before she went to bed, Yulia had $6,613 in cash (and was again in Gold aspiration),
a net worth of $25,409,
Aspiration Reward Points of 13,750,
2 friends,
and 2 employees.

NOTES FROM THE AUTHOR: When Yulia didn’t have any work yet for Troy to do, I clicked on “Management … Send Home for the Day”, and Troy left the lot. I noticed a couple minutes later that Troy had lost his customer loyalty star! I wonder if that was the result of sending an enthusiastic new employee home….
Looks like things are going great here. Did the expansion really help get the business going or was it just coincidence that it took off more after expanding?
ReplyDeleteI think the second card table DID help--I played the lot through to the next day and exited without saving 3 times just to assess the business (since I'm trying to offer helpful hints for 5TLB here), and it never gained a star till I went back and expanded.
