Genya’s Dance Studio.

Yulia woke up realizing to her horror that she hadn’t reset the home venue’s price back to Ridiculously Cheap from $9,999, meaning that her venue was probably deserted, and had been so all night.

“Damn!,” she told Derek. He kissed her hair and tried to get her not to obsess about it.

Yulia had been right—the venue WAS empty, but once she lowered the price customers started trickling in. She hung out for a while with Marisa, who had left her position as sous-chef at Yulia’s restaurant to go into the field of nutritional medicine (Derek had found her an entry-level position).

“So,” Yulia asked mischievously, “what’s up with you and Komei???”

“I’m going to take it slow,” Marisa answered guardedly. “But I DO like him.”

Once Yevgenya woke up, Yulia gave the girl yet another present.

“Mom—wow!,” the teen cried.

“If you’re going to have a venue, you really need snapdragons to be successful,” Yulia explained. “Now go see your new community lot.”

Genya and Yedrek headed down the stairs. “Come ON, Yana!,” she hollered to her younger sister. “You can do that at the studio!”

THAT got Yanastasia’s attention.

The venue was just beautiful,

and Genya was thrilled with it.

Yana headed immediately for one of the ballet barres and resumed her workout.

‘This place is WAAAAAY prissy,’ Yed observed, ‘but at least the equipment’s great.’

Genya opened her studio.

Customers really liked being able to watch the football game while working out on the treadmill.

It wasn’t long before Genya had her first 3 customer loyalty stars, and Rank 1.

She picked the first cash perk,

and tuned the other TV to a workout channel.

People were so comfortable in the studio that they were happy just to hang out there.

The studio reached Rank 2,

and Genya picked the second cash perk,

and resumed her rigorous workout.

She decided to invite over a couple of her friends (though Grayson was much more excited about it than Whitney was).

Still, Whitney was more eager about working out than Grayson.

Yed had a water balloon fight with Komei.

Grayson DID pay some attention to Yana (whom he hadn’t really noticed at the twins’ birthday party).

Yed offered to be a personal trainer to several of the customers.

For the most part, the 3 teens ran the studio professionally,

but kids will be kids, and from time to time their lesser natures took over.

Despite this, customers continued to gain stars,

and the studio reached Rank 3.

Genya picked the 3rd cash perk.

Throughout the afternoon, the studio started to become more crowded.

While Yed and Genya were doing yoga, the studio reached Rank 4,

and Genya took the 4th cash perk,

and the teens decided to call it a day.

NOTES FROM THE AUTHOR:

I needed to find outfits for my teens that were available both in Everyday and in Gym Clothes, so that there wouldn’t be constant switching in and out of outfits. I would have liked more variety than what I had to settle for. Yana’s and Yed’s are fine, but I would have like something better for Genya (maybe the crop top with the yoga pants).

I’d never seen (uncontrollable) customers “hang out”! Maybe I haven’t been paying attention….

Hey, how about that one-armed pushup from Genya?!?!?! Pretty impressive, eh?

Really, what WAS up with Whitney’s attitude??? Genya’s at 47s with her, and only 25s with Grayson, and you see how much more enthusiastic he was about coming over.

I just LOOOOOVE that the weight stacks move up and down…never noticed THAT before, either.

Though I was careful to use only pix that showed daylight, the teens actually spent almost 2 entire days at the studio.
